Notes: Made with page from children's songbook page (rescued from garbage); acrylic paint.

More Notes: I haven't posted for a long time ... I wish I could say I've been too busy creating new he'art'; but that would be a lie. The truth is I've been somewhat dis'heart'ened ... not enough time or space to create. At least that was the excuse I used.

Then ... out of the blue yesterday I was compelled to my work table ... and this popped out.

I can't wait to re-visit my artistic side some more!!!

About My He'Art ...

Each work I show here is made from GENUINE graffiti (see note below), trash, and recycled treasures that I pick up at random. At least that's how I started out. I have also tried my hand at watercolor, acrylic, collage ... whatever pops out at the time I am inspired!

About the Graffiti: I watched as the abandoned mega-church across the street became a magnet for taggers and graffiti artists. Many works of art were made on walls backed with drywall. Subsequent vandals kicked in these walls, leaving pieces of graffiti scattered around. I picked these up, removed the drywall backing, and turned them into art. The mega-church is now cleaned out - no more graffiti. But I have my stash!!!
