Ugly Tee-Shirt Makeover

I love this tie-dyed shirt, found at the Goodwill ...
But even though I have nothing against Goofy, I hated the logo.

So ...

I covered it with patchwork.

Much better.

About My He'Art ...

Each work I show here is made from GENUINE graffiti (see note below), trash, and recycled treasures that I pick up at random. At least that's how I started out. I have also tried my hand at watercolor, acrylic, collage ... whatever pops out at the time I am inspired!

About the Graffiti: I watched as the abandoned mega-church across the street became a magnet for taggers and graffiti artists. Many works of art were made on walls backed with drywall. Subsequent vandals kicked in these walls, leaving pieces of graffiti scattered around. I picked these up, removed the drywall backing, and turned them into art. The mega-church is now cleaned out - no more graffiti. But I have my stash!!!
